First Post - Awake (again)
Well its nearly 4am and i still can’t sleep. I’m listening to Pandora (Camera Obscura station) and waiting for the last of my 3 loads of laundry to dry. It’s kind of strange being up this late so often. It’s somewhat comforting. i enjoy the solitude. I do, however, feel a bit lonely knowing most of the people i know are asleep… and in a few hours from now they will be enjoying their day while i’m fast asleep, wasting mine.
I made plans for early tomorrow to go xmas shopping with Debbie in Fullerton. I did this mainly as a way of encouraging myself to get to sleep early tonight. I failed. I desparately need to get gifts for my family and the holiday is only about 45 hours away. So as it stands now i’ll either be insanely tired tomorrow or without any gifts to give on xmas.
I’m gonna try to fall asleep to elliot smith music and this new harlan coben book i picked up. But as of this moment i’m very much awake.
